About the Neighbourhood Association

Welcome to the website of the Old University Neighbourhood Residents' Association (OUNRA).

The OUNRA has been in existence since the late 1950s. We are the oldest continually operating neighbourhood association in the City of Guelph. OUNRA was incorporated in 1982.

OUNRA represents the geographical area bounded by the Speed River to the north, College Avenue to the south, the Cutten Club to the East and the Hanlon Expressway to the West.

The role of the OUNRA is to protect and enhance the quality of life of residents' in the neighbourhood. This can mean many things - political action, communication, social opportunities, etc. Grassroots change happens at a neighbourhood level. As the needs of the neighbourhood changes, so does your Association. Please consider becoming a member and having your voice heard in the community.
